Growing up in a small town, I saw the significance of a local diner to the local community. Serving not only coffee and food, but also as a meeting place. As time has gone on, the diner has started to fade into the background a bit with specialized coffee shops starting to trend. Regardless of where you go to get your coffee, you can always find a social hub.
The pandemic has effected so many, but do you really know who it has effected? Often times you find people might be hurting more than you realize. Our connections are so important in life and they get us through our dark times. Pick up a phone and connect.
I just gave facebook, the “it’s not you, it’s me” speech. Social media has gone down a dark path at the moment. Sometimes you have to make a decision on if you are using your time wisely. For now, it’s better used without the facebook.
